A few days after the discovery of a 14-month-old baby dead in a car in Saint-Nazaire, the scenario of the drama becomes clearer.
According to several local media, the father of the child forgot him in the vehicle, when he had to drop him off at the crèche before going to work.
According to France Bleu Loire Océan, the man parked directly near the Saint-Nazaire hospital on Monday morning around 8:30 a.m., where he is a caregiver.
It was only in the evening that the mother, who was going to the crèche to pick up the baby, realized that he was not there and immediately informed her spouse.
The child was rescued around 6 p.m., after spending the whole day in the car in the heat.
Unfortunately, he did not survive.
The prosecution opened an investigation, entrusted to the urban security brigade of Saint-Nazaire.
