Nebenzya announced Russia's readiness to help Afghanistan with grain supplies

At the same time, he added that it is deeply regrettable that illegal anti-Russian sanctions violate Russia's cooperation, including with humanitarian organizations, "destroying the logistics and financial chains."

Earlier, Nebenzya called the US attempts to shift responsibility for the situation in Afghanistan hypocritical.

On June 23, Deputy Head of Humanitarian Affairs of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), Ramiz Alakbarov, said that since August 2021, the Afghan economy has shrunk by 30-40%.
