Much of the case has consulting agreements between Daniel Kindberg, then CEO of Östersundshem, Hans Carlsson, then vice president of Östersundshem and the construction company Pilgrimsta hus.

A company that at this time was frequently hired by Östersundshem.

Among other things, it was Pilgrimsta hus that built the many attefallshus Östersundshem bought.

The indictment was based on the fact that Kindberg and Carlsson had invoiced Pilgrimsta hus for more than 10 million.

Bribery meant the prosecutor at the National Unit for Corruption and prosecuted both Kindberg and Carlsson for gross bribery.

A representative of Pilgrimsta House was charged with aggravated bribery.

The painted prosecutor demanded a restraining order and a multi-year prison sentence for the three main defendants.

All five people charged in this case have refused to commit crimes through the investigation and the trial.

Daniel Kindberg is convicted of aggravated bribery and aggravated bookkeeping offense.

He is sentenced to two years and six months in prison and is banned from doing business for a period of three years and is ordered to repay to the state the amounts he received in bribes, a total of SEK 5,545,000.
