China News Service, June 23. According to the website of the Macao SAR Government, the Chief Executive's Instruction No. 102/2022 was published in the Official Gazette of the Macao Special Administrative Region today (23). From then on, the following specific venues and facilities in Macau will be closed, and dining venues will stop dine-in and only allow takeaways.

  The Chief Executive instructed that, according to the assessment of the Novel Coronavirus Infection Response and Coordination Center, Macau is at risk of a community outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus in Macau, the Chief Executive, in accordance with the provisions of Article 25 of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases, issued an instruction from 5:00 pm on June 23, 2022:

  (1) Close all cinemas, theaters, indoor playgrounds, game consoles and electronic game rooms, Internet cafes, billiard rooms, bowling alleys, steam baths, massage parlors, beauty salons, fitness centers, health clubs, "karaoke" establishments, Bars, nightclubs, discos, dance halls, dance halls, barber shops and swimming pools open to the public;

  (2) Stop all restaurants, beverage establishments and eating establishments from providing the public with the service of eating and drinking in the relevant venues, but does not hinder the provision of takeaway services.

  In addition, the Macao Municipal Affairs Bureau has suspended the opening of related facilities such as parks and leisure areas, free waves (ie open stadiums), activity centers in various districts, indoor facilities and exhibition venues. The Sports Bureau has also suspended the opening of all sports facilities under its jurisdiction. Citizens are requested to pay attention and cooperate.
