There were no resolutions, but there was a reassuring message for all those who were tired of the pandemic.

There is peace, joy and pancakes between the Federal Minister of Health and his 16 country colleagues when it comes to the Corona autumn strategy.

As Bavaria's Health Minister Holetschek praised, Karl Lauterbach involved the federal states in his strategy for the third autumn wave at an early stage.

However, it remained cloudy what the citizens expected from Corona measures in a “heavy autumn” suspected by Lauterbach.

The health ministers do not want to present their strategy until July 1st and what a changed infection protection law should look like.

This is understandable, because the report on the effectiveness of the corona rules in the last winter wave will be available by then.

A key point will be the question of how effective the mask requirement is, which FDP Federal Minister of Justice Buschmann is questioning in advance.

In any case, it is half clear: there should continue to be free citizen tests for a great many people, but no longer for everyone.

It is not clear: who should pay the next billion for it?

federal or state?

One thing is very clear: There will be no new push for compulsory vaccination from the age of 60.

In Austria, the government has even announced the abolition of compulsory vaccinations, which have been suspended anyway.

The Omicron variant changed the rules.

This may also apply to Germany.
