They opposed the anti-Russian sanctions, which negatively affect, among other things, Italy.

The participants of the event spoke about the consequences of the sanctions of European countries, recalling the rise in prices for fuel and food.

In addition, the Italians supported Russian athletes and musicians who, as a result of sanctions, are not allowed to participate in international competitions and competitions.

“Our manifestation is a manifestation of solidarity with people who in recent months have been discriminated against only because they belong to a certain nationality, this is a shame,” said Luciano Tovalieri, coordinator of the political association “Italia Again – For Democratic Sovereignty” in Lombardy.

Earlier, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said that the events in Ukraine revealed anti-NATO and anti-Western sentiments in Italian society.
