China News Service, Shanghai, June 23 (Zheng Yingying, Ma Shuaisha) The "big brother" in China's rocket field with 30 years of service, the Long March No. 2 D (referred to as: Chang Er Ding) carrier rocket set off again.

It is worth mentioning that this is its 60th time into space.

At 10:22 on June 23rd, Beijing time, the Long March 2D carrier rocket was launched at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, and successfully sent the 02 group satellites of Remote Sensing 35 into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.

This launch is the 60th launch of the Changerding carrier rocket.

The Changerding carrier rocket was developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It was established in 1990 and flew for the first time on August 9, 1992.

At that time, the situation of China's aerospace industry was very difficult. It was not easy for the Changerding launch vehicle to achieve three consecutive successes, and it was awarded the title of "high-quality launch vehicle".

As China's aerospace industry continues to grow, the Changerding carrier rocket is "very busy".

In recent years, many "Internet celebrity" satellites have emerged among its "passengers", such as: dark matter particle detection satellite "Wukong", quantum science experimental satellite "Mozi" and so on.

The "passengers" it sent this time - Remote Sensing No. 35 Group 02 satellites, are mainly used for scientific experiments, land and resources censuses, agricultural product yield estimation and disaster prevention and mitigation.

Although he is already an "old employee" in the rocket field, the Changerding carrier rocket is still dedicated. We have made great efforts in the aspects of rain capacity, enhancing the rain tolerance of the electrical system, and comprehensively reviewing the rain and lightning protection measures.
