Jumbo, a famous seafood restaurant in Hong Kong, sank in the South China Sea.

There are suspicions that it was deliberately dumped into the sea.

In 1976, the Macau casino tycoon appeared as a backdrop for Jumbo, a marine restaurant modeled after the Chinese imperial palace, the movie 007 series, and Thieves.

It was closed in March of last year due to a sharp drop in tourists due to Corona 19, and as the accumulated deficit gradually increased due to maintenance, it finally declared the final closure last month and decided to move to Southeast Asia.

However, it was capsized while passing the Paracel Islands in the South China Sea.

It is said that the water depth of the site exceeds 1,000 m, making it difficult to salvage.

Hong Kong media and netizens are raising suspicions that the owner was trying to reduce maintenance costs and collect accident insurance by sinking the jumbo.

Also, some argue that the weather at the accident site was not bad on the day that the jumbo was overturned, and that the jumbo, a large structure, could not be dragged to the vicinity of the Paracel Islands that quickly.
