Now the new sub-variant of omikron, BA5, is expected to circulate this summer.
- It is difficult to give an exact description of the spread of infection at the local level, but we see an increase in wastewater in both Uppsala and Östhammar municipalities.
We also see that the proportion of positive test results has tripled in the past month, says Mats Martinell.
Mixed reactions among Uppsala residents
- You do not hear as much about it so you almost think that it has gone down completely and that people do not have corona.
