“On June 21, the forces of the Navy, in cooperation with the port authorities of the Donetsk People’s Republic, ensured the first safe exit along the existing maritime humanitarian corridor from the port of Mariupol of the Turkish vessel Azov Concorde,” the statement says.
In May, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that six foreign dry cargo ships remained in the port of Mariupol, despite the conditions created by the Russian side for a safe exit.
