“In Avdiivka of the Donetsk People’s Republic, specialists from the Center for Information and Psychological Operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out another provocation in order to accuse the Russian Armed Forces of allegedly destroying civilian infrastructure facilities,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
It is specified that the nationalists blew up the building of a comprehensive school and distributed fabricated photo and video materials in Ukrainian and Western media.
The department warned about the intention of the Kyiv authorities "according to the worked out scenario" to accuse Russian military personnel of indiscriminate strikes.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Ukrainian military is using the medical infrastructure of Odessa, as well as settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic for military purposes.
