France enters a new wave of “Corona” mutated

The official in charge of the vaccination program in France, Alain Fischer, said today, Wednesday, that the country is facing a new wave of Covid-19 infections due to new mutations of the Corona virus that causes the disease, while new daily infections reached their peak in nearly two months yesterday at more than 95 thousand.

Speaking on the second channel of French TV, he said that there is no doubt that large numbers of injuries have returned again in France, adding that he personally supports the re-imposition of masks in public transport.

"The question is: How strong is this wave?" Fisher said.

The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control stated that other European countries, especially Portugal, are also witnessing an increase in Corona injuries due to two sub-mutants of the Omicron.

New infections in France have risen steadily since the end of May, and the total deaths from the Corona virus in France increased by 56 deaths yesterday, Tuesday, to 149,162 cases.
