The owner detected the intruder on February 21, 2021 in the truffle area thanks to his surveillance system.

He instructed his son to get to the scene as quickly as possible.

The latter then caught the man in the act of stealing truffles.

The stranger then fled by car but was identified by the gendarmes.

The damage is estimated at €100.

In court, this Ardéchois admitted to having gone to private land but assured that he had not crossed paths with the son of the producer.

The father of the family received an eight-month suspended probation for two years and must pay €600 to the victim.
