On the evening of June 20, local time, the Disaster Management Authority of Assam State in India said that in the past 24 hours, 11 more people were killed in the state due to floods and landslides.

At present, continuous rainfall has caused floods in northeastern India, among which the floods in Assam are particularly severe.

Flooding hit 33 of the state's 35 districts, flooding more than 5,000 villages, affecting 4.2 million people and moving more than 180,000 people to 744 relief camps.
