The President of the State receives the Prime Minister of Romania

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, received today at Qasr Al Bahr the Prime Minister of the Republic of Romania, Nikolai Chiuca.

His Highness welcomed the visit of the Romanian Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation, looking forward that the visit would contribute to supporting the development and growth of bilateral relations in various fields.

The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries and opportunities for its development and diversification of its horizons, especially in the economic, investment, trade, development, agricultural and other vital fields of common interest.

His Highness and the Romanian Prime Minister exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and the developments of a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Romanian Prime Minister offered his condolences and sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.

Nikolai Chiuka also congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his assumption of the presidency of the United Arab Emirates, wishing His Highness success in leading the country to achieve what the people of the Emirates aspire to in terms of progress and advancement.
