• 19-J Sánchez stays the course despite the fear of the barons for the result in Andalusia

  • Government Yolanda Díaz proposes "a check for 300 euros" for families because the Government's decree against inflation is "not enough"

The holding of the elections in Andalusia has been a severe setback for the partners of the Government, who have reaped their worst historical results.

But Moncloa maintains its roadmap.

Ferraz

and

La Moncloa

try to show that it is only about regional elections, without being extrapolated.

Pedro Sánchez maintains his course and his roadmap: "The Government governs," they say in the presidential complex.

And to make it visible and turn the page on 19-J, they want to make work visible.

Thus, this Saturday an extraordinary council of ministers will be held whose task will be to approve the new royal decree on economic measures to deal with the crisis aggravated by the war in Ukraine.

This is the text that extends and proposes new measures with respect to those that are currently in force and that expired on June 30.

There was room to approve the text until that date, but La Moncloa has decided to hold an extraordinary appointment on the weekend.

In addition, another cabinet meeting will be held next Monday.

This time it is ahead of Tuesday due to the

NATO

summit in Madrid.

This new package of measures is still being debated within the Government.

At least there are different positions, as evidenced this Monday night, when the second vice president, Yolanda Díaz, sent the PSOE ministries a document with measures that she considered should be included.

For example, it is about including a 50% discount on the transport pass or a check for 300 euros for vulnerable families.

Likewise, it has proposed to establish a mechanism that allows the bonus to be adjusted to the price of gasoline and non-professional diesel according to the income level of the beneficiaries.

Also that the large energy companies make "an extra contribution", with a surcharge of 10 points the type of companies that would allow them to raise between 1,500 and 2,000 million.

The Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, in an interview on TVE, has assured that the measures are still being negotiated, that nothing is ruled out.

Specifically, regarding the 10-point increase in Companies, Montero has said that he agrees with the "content and objective" of the measure because it is "just" that the electricity companies pay more because they have had greater benefits.

But she has pointed out: "It has to be the technicians who say how we can do it."

The fact that Díaz sent his proposal on Monday night and a few minutes later made it public on his social networks has not pleased the socialist sector of the Government.

Thus, the Minister of Finance has asked United We Can that these debates be held internally, with discretion.

That the path of "speculation and noise" not be followed.
