At a cabinet meeting on the 21st, the government decided to appoint Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Tetsuo Yamashita as the new administrative vice-minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
Mr. Yamashita, who has been appointed as the new administrative vice minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, is 60 years old from Chiba prefecture.
He joined the former Prime Minister's Office in 1985, and after working as the director of the administrative management bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the personnel policy supervisor of the Cabinet Personnel Bureau, he is the general affairs deputy officer in charge of the administrative system.
This appointment will be announced on the 28th of this month.
