Vulin's statement was published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia.

The Minister said that Serbia in its history has become the object of numerous blackmail attempts and ultimatums.

He noted that in two world wars, Germany put forward ultimatums, as a result of which millions of Serbs died.

According to him, "there has always been a question - on whose side" are the Serbs.

“Serbia is on its side, on the best side of history, something that the people of Mrs. von der Leyen and most of the peoples of the EU cannot boast of,” Vulin said.

Prior to this, the minister said that Western countries are offering Serbia to recognize the independence of Kosovo and sever any relations with Russia, and in exchange for this they promise to help Belgrade "crawl faster into the EU."

Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the rise in electricity prices and the energy crisis were caused by irresponsible and stupid statements by European politicians.
