It is noted that after the summit on June 23-24, the leaders of the EU countries intend to continue working on sanctions packages, "including to strengthen their implementation and prevent their circumvention."
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Pavel Yablonsky said that the EU authorities had begun work on the seventh package of anti-Russian sanctions.
The sixth package of EU sanctions against Russia was finally approved on 3 June.
