This was reported on the website of the organizers of the auction Heritage Auction.

The money received from the sale of the award will be received by the countries of the world in which there are Ukrainian refugee children.

Among such countries are Poland, Russia, Germany, Moldova, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

“All the money that we raise today, we transfer to UNICEF,” said the owner of the medal, Nobel Prize winner Dmitry Muratov.

Muratov called on people around the world to put up for sale their relics in order to help those in need.

Dmitry Muratov won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021.

As stated in the decision of the Nobel committee, the prize was awarded for "efforts to protect freedom of expression, which is a prerequisite for democracy and lasting peace."
