Kristin Magnusson Bernard is the CEO of the first AP fund that manages many employees' pension money.

At the turn of the year, the sum was measured at SEK 466 billion.

Since then, the stock market has plummeted by almost 28 percent.

- In the short term, we can not parry this type of stock market fall.

Says Kristin Magnusson Bernard, who after all sees advantages in the messy market situation.

- We can buy when others need to sell.

Do you have any concerns about the financial situation?

- I should always feel stressed in my job.

If you are responsible for 466 billion of the Swedes' money, you should be stressed, says Kristin Magnusson Bernard.

Thinking long term

The AP Fund's CEO also highlights the importance of having a plan for the funds and daring to think long-term.

- The surplus that is created in the pension system in the long run is often due to business that we do that looks bad when they are done but in the long run turns out to be fantastic.

- It's not easy at all.

We humans can become overactive or paralyzed.

It takes a plan and courage to dare to follow it, says the first AP fund's CEO.
