“If we don’t have weapons, okay, then we will fight with shovels, but we will defend ourselves,” Kuleba is quoted on the air of the ARD TASS TV channel.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs called on countries to provide military assistance to Ukraine in the form of arms supplies, and to do so as soon as possible.

“Thus, the sooner we receive weapons, the sooner they are sent (to Ukraine. - RT ), the more help will be for us,” the Foreign Minister said.

He also clarified that in case of delay, Kyiv will lose a lot, and there will be many human casualties.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine could help regain control over the Donbass.

In his opinion, modern weapons will help to knock out Russian military personnel from the territory.
