According to the minister, they also often have problems finding employment abroad, as "they are called spies."

At the same time, Shadayev added that the most sought-after specialists find work quite easily.

According to him, a significant number of specialists returning to Russia are those who left on emotions and could not quickly find work abroad.



He also stated that many of the IT specialists who remained abroad continue to work remotely for Russian companies.

“I can say that probably half of them continue to work for Russian companies,” he said.

In May, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that according to SIM-card data, about 85% of IT specialists who had previously left Russia returned to the country.
