Aksyonov posted on his Telegram account: "This morning, the oil rig of the Black Sea Oil and Gas Company was attacked by the enemy."
Aksyonov noted that five people were rescued, three of them injured.
Search and rescue operations continue.
Aksyonov said that the Russian Ministry of Defense dispatched patrol ships and aircraft to participate in the rescue operation.
