"The Government of the Russian Federation ... to ensure the adoption of decisions extending the right of families with children to receive a mortgage housing loan (loan) at preferential rates, subject to the birth of a child in the family before December 31, 2023," the list of instructions published on Kremlin website.
It is noted that the deadline for the implementation of the order is September 1, 2022.
Earlier it became known that a draft resolution was submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers to reduce the rate on preferential mortgages to 7%.
On June 17, at a plenary meeting at the SPIEF, Putin proposed to reduce the mortgage rate to 7%.
