Several violent riots arose during the night between Easter Eve and Easter Day in Malmö in connection with Rasmus Paludan, party leader of the Danish right-wing extremist party Tight Course, burning a Koran at Skånegården.

During the riots, a city bus caught fire after a burning object was thrown into the bus.

The 21-year-old is suspected of aggravated arson and violent rioting.
