The diplomat announced this on his official Telegram channel.

“The exit of civilians and the laying down of arms by the militants is held back by constant shelling by Ukrainian artillery of Severodonetsk from the suburbs of Lisichansk,” Miroshnik specified.

It is clarified that now the evacuees are safe, they are receiving the necessary assistance.

On June 20, Andrey Marochko, an officer of the People's Militia of the LPR, stated that some civilians were able to get out of the Azot plant in Severodonetsk with the help of tricks or "by a lucky chance."

Marochko also suggested that up to 1,000 civilians could be in the factory area.
