Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, Chairperson of the Emirates Foundation for School Education, stated that the teaching and administrative cadres that were transferred from the 10 schools converted to the “generational schools” model have already been housed in other schools.

This came in her response to a question by "Emirates Today", on the sidelines of the media meeting organized by the media office of the UAE government, recently, to discuss the developments in the education sector in the country, and the new policies and projects that were recently launched.

Al-Amiri clarified that schools have a shortage of teachers in different subjects, and therefore teachers transferred from “generational schools” meet the schools’ need for teaching cadres, for the continuity of the education process.

She stated that the operators of the "generational schools" will work to appoint new teachers for the subjects, while the institution retained the teachers of three subjects: Arabic language, Islamic education and social studies, while the educational and administrative staff who were working in those schools were housed, except for the teachers of the three subjects. in other schools.

Currently, the Emirates Foundation for School Education is receiving applications for registration of students wishing to “generational schools”, and registration continues until the 22nd of this month, for Emirati students and the like, by registering by visiting https://ajyalschools.ese.gov.ae.

The Foundation clarified that the priority to register in the generations schools is for students who have brothers in the school, residents of the school’s geographical scope, or for students who are in the same geographical scope of the school, or outside the geographical scope of the school, and residents of the emirate.

The Foundation pointed out that other requests for students from outside the geographical scope will be considered, depending on the availability of school seats, and the Foundation has set two conditions for registration in Al-Ajial Schools, namely, the registration of national students and those of their equivalents to enroll in the first grade except those previously registered in public or private schools, and according to Availability of study seats. As for registration for the second to fourth grades, it is limited to public school students, and according to the availability of study seats.

The Foundation has identified the names of the schools that will be converted in the first stage to the “Generation Schools” model, and it includes 10 schools in Dubai and the northern emirates, which are Al-Mizhar first circle, Al Maktoum first circle in Dubai, Al-Qarayen first circle, Al-Furqan first circle in Sharjah and Mushairif A first episode in the Emirate of Ajman.

The list also includes Umm Al Quwain School, first cycle in Umm Al Quwain, Al Mataf, first cycle, Al Wadi, first cycle, Al Ma'arid, first cycle in Ras Al Khaimah, in addition to Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi School, first cycle in Fujairah.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al-Falasi, said that the qualification and training of teachers, and development processes in education, are always accompanied by training bags to raise the professional level of teachers, explaining that teacher development is a continuous process before joining work in the field of education, as well as there are specialized bags implemented by teaching staff during Their work, according to the requirements and needs of each stage, its goals and pillars.

He added that there is great cooperation between the Ministry and the Foundation in this aspect, to monitor the actual needs of teachers in the field, prepare new bags that meet all needs, especially those that simulate educational technology, and employ artificial intelligence tools in the educational process, and benefit from it in creating new teaching methods that contribute to the advancement outputs, and this would ensure the upgrading of teachers skillfully and professionally.

The Director of the Academic Accreditation Commission at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Muhammad Bani Yas, confirmed that the Commission applies the best international standards in the academic accreditation processes of higher education institutions, their academic programs in the country, and quality assurance.

This came on the sidelines of the event honoring the Commission, for obtaining global recognition and a certificate of international best practices to ensure the quality of higher education, from the International Network for Quality Assurance Organizations for a period of five years.

Baniyas added that the ministry's efforts are focused on continuing the qualitative development process that education has achieved.
