The National Rally candidate was re-elected in the 19th district of the North, this Sunday, during the second round of the legislative elections.

Opposed to the candidate New Popular, Ecological and Social Union (Nupes), Patrick Soloch, the faithful of Marine Le Pen obtained 57.15% of the votes cast.

Sébastien Chenu had already come out on top in the first round last Sunday, with 44.35% of the vote.

From her headquarters in Hénin-Beaumont (Pas-de-Calais), where she was re-elected, Marine Le Pen was delighted to have in the Assembly the group of "by far the most numerous in the history of our political family", which will ensure "a firm opposition, without collusion, responsible, respectful of the institutions, because our only compass is the interest of France and the French people".
