This activist since the age of 19 has also been a municipal and community councilor for the small town of Hanvec since 2020.

Born on June 4, 1984 in Landerneau, Mélanie Thomin obtained two master's degrees, one in Modern Literature and another in Book Trades, in Brest, after having done hypokhâgne and khâgne.

She teaches French in high school and in BTS.

From a father retired from the territorial public service and a mother employed by the town hall, Mélanie Thomin says she has engaged in these elections to bring “the concrete problems on the ground” to the National Assembly.

The one which received the support during the campaign of the president of the Brittany region Loïg Chesnais-Girard, intends to focus more particularly on the problems of access to health for all in rural areas and the opening up of territories, as well as access to public services and support for the agricultural world in environmental transitions in the face of the climate emergency.

"We are going to create the alternative on the left after five years of liberal politics embodied here by Richard Ferrand", she assures on the internet page which is dedicated to her on the site "Gagnons l'Assemblée".

Mélanie Thomin lives as a couple and is expecting a child.
