The president of the Renaissance group in the National Assembly Christophe Castaner was beaten in the second round of the legislative elections in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence by Léo Walter, the candidate of Nupes, who obtained 51.49% of the votes, against 48.51% for Christophe Castaner.

The president of the LREM group (renamed Renaissance) in the National Assembly Christophe Castaner was beaten in the second round of the legislative elections in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence by Léo Walter, the candidate of the New Popular Ecological and Social Union (Nupes ).

Léo Walter (Nupes), 50, obtained 51.49% of the vote and Christophe Castaner, 56, 48.51%.

Socialist MP elected in 2012 in the 2nd district of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (and re-elected in 2017 under the label of the presidential majority), the former Minister of the Interior, close to Emmanuel Macron, Christophe Castaner was candidate for a third successive term.
