Earthquake in the Dordogne.

On this historic land of the left – already shaken by the LREM wave in 2017 – the National Rally won a constituency, the second, with the victory on the wire of Serge Muller (50.4%) against outgoing deputy Michel Delpon (LREM , 49.6%).

Some 330 votes separate the two candidates… This is the first time that the RN has won in the Dordogne.

"It's historic" commented the RN candidate on the France 3 set this Sunday evening.

The left, however, resisted.

In the first, the candidate Nupes Pascale Martin is elected with 51.85% of the vote, ahead of the outgoing majority deputy Philippe Chassaing (Together!) who achieves 48.15%.

In the fourth, Sébastien Peytavie (Nupes / Generation. s) wins with 55.5% against the outgoing Jacqueline Dubois (44.5%).

In the third, and within the framework of a triangular, it is the outgoing deputy Together!

Jean-Pierre Cubertafon (MoDem) who wins with 36.52% against Cyril Girardeau (Nupes) who brings together 34.10% of the votes and Florence Joubert (RN) who totals 29.38%.

Jean-Pierre Cubertafon is the only outgoing to save his seat.

In this department, the Périgord socialists, who always sent at least two deputies to Paris between 1997 and 2017 - when "walkers" had won the four seats -, had decided to present candidates in the four candidates, facing the candidates of Nupes.
