The candidates of the presidential majority and of the left (Nupes) won Sunday, in the Sarthe, their duels against the RN candidates who had qualified in four of the five constituencies of this rural department, anchored on the right.

and Nupes narrowly eliminated the RN in the 3rd and 4th constituencies, more widely in the 2nd and 5th, where the bonus went to the outgoing.

In the 2nd, the outgoing socialist invested by the Nupes Marietta Karamanli largely won (63.06%) against the RN candidate Angélique Furet (36.94%).

In the 5th, the outgoing Macronist deputy and ex-LR Jean-Carles Grelier won 59.51% of the vote against the RN candidate Victoria De Vigneral (40.49%).

In the 1st, where the outgoing LREM Damien Pichereau did not represent himself, the majority candidate Julie Delpech retains the seat for the Macronist majority (54.90%) against the Nupes candidate Ghislaine Bonnet (45.10%) .

On the other hand, the match was very tight against the RN in the 3rd (La Flèche) and 4th districts (Allonnes, Le Mans, Sablé-sur-Sarthe).

In the 3rd, where the outgoing Pascale Fontenel-Person did not represent herself, the MoDem candidate invested by Ensemble, Eric Martineau, won with only 50.98% of the votes against RN Bruno Pinçon.

In the 4th, Elise Leboucher (LFI), who had qualified against the outgoing Sylvie Tolmont, dissident PS, narrowly won (50.15%) against RN Raymond de Malherbe.
