Two RN in Lot-et-Garonne

In Lot-et-Garonne, where Marine Le Pen came out on top in the second round of the presidential election, two RN deputies were elected.

It is a triangular in the second constituency of Marmande which brought the MEP RN Hélène Laporte to the Palais-Bourbon, with 39.44% of the vote, ahead of the mayor of Virazeil Christophe Courrelongue (Nupes-PS, 30.75%) .

Victory also for the RN in Villeneuve-sur-Lot (3rd), the former constituency of the socialist minister Jérôme Cahuzac: the departmental head of the RN Annick Cousin (56.97%) beat the candidate Nupes-LFI, a newcomer to politics and comedian by profession, Xavier Czalpa (43.03%).
