In third position, "Top Gun: Maverick" lost a place in the rankings but continued to panic the counters by winning 44 million dollars at the box office for its fourth week of operation.

The sequel to "Top Gun", thirty-six years later, has been hailed by critics.

Tom Cruise still plays US Navy test pilot Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, now a captain, who must train younger pilots to bomb a rogue country's uranium enrichment plant.

The latest production from Marvel Studios is followed by "Bob's Burgers: The Movie", based on the American television series of the same name (1.1 million).
