Over the past day, high-precision air-launched missiles hit 12 firing positions of artillery and mortar units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was during a briefing on Saturday, June 18, said the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.

As a result of these strikes, in particular, four platoons of Grad multiple rocket launchers and four platoons of 155-mm M777 howitzers delivered to Ukraine by Western countries were hit.

In addition, technological capacities for oil refining and fuel storage facilities for the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

“High-precision air and ground-based weapons in the areas of Kremenchug and Lisichansk destroyed technological facilities for refining oil and fuel storage facilities intended to supply Ukrainian military equipment in the Donbass,” Konashenkov said.

In turn, aviation hit 62 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a result of these strikes, more than 160 nationalists, the Buk-M1 air defense system, five Grad multiple launch rocket launchers, six tanks and other armored vehicles, eight field artillery guns, six special vehicles and three ammunition depots were destroyed.

In addition, Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft and a Mi-24 helicopter, eight drones, including a Bayraktar TB2 in the Kherson region.

Four Ukrainian Tochka-U missiles and 24 Uragan missiles were intercepted.

The missile forces hit 180 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, 16 command posts, as well as 32 firing positions of artillery and mortar units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the total losses of the Ukrainian side since the beginning of the special operation amounted to 206 aircraft, 132 helicopters, 1241 drones, 343 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3613 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 547 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, as well as 2032 field artillery pieces and mortar, 3687 units of special military vehicles.

At the same time, he noted that the number of those who surrendered and their belonging to one or another unit has not yet been disclosed.

Recall that on June 14, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced a request from the Ukrainian side to organize a humanitarian corridor for the evacuation of civilians from the Azot plant in Severodonetsk.

In the following days, the defense department stated that the Kyiv authorities disrupted the evacuation, and the militants took advantage of the humanitarian pause to regroup.
