"Ajman Transport" clarifies the details of bus routes inside and outside the emirate

The Ajman Transport Authority has specified the details and working times of its buses, as part of its keenness to provide the best services to the public in a manner that achieves the best means of comfort and luxury.

The authority stated that the service of the on-demand bus project, which operates in a number of vital areas in the Emirate of Ajman, is currently available in a number of areas from six in the morning until twelve in the middle of the night.

The project is characterized by operating minibuses to work on demand to meet the needs of residents and visitors to the emirate, and to encourage the use of public transportation in smart ways using the Ajman BOD smart application, which is easy to use to request service.

The buses reduce the distance and waiting time for the customer for public transportation, as they connect the emirate’s areas with public buses, and the bus route is determined via artificial intelligence in real time based on service requests and road conditions, which contributes to reducing traffic congestion and journey time.

The customer determines his location and selects the destination he wants to go to via the smart application. Thus, the application selects the nearest bus to meet the request, and the customer is directed to the nearest virtual stop, thus contributing to the integration of mass transit services in the first and last mile.

The Transport Authority also clarified the details of the internal and external lines of its buses, which were allocated for the purpose of transporting passengers, as follows:

First, the internal lines: Al Jarf / aj1 - Industrial / aj2 - Hamidiya / aj3 - Sheikh Ammar Street / aj6 - Al Jarf Expressway - Mushairif Line / aj7 - Al Musalla Station (main station) - Emirates City feeder.

Second: External lines: Dubai International Airport - Sharjah / shj1 - Rolla Industrial / shj2 - Centrepoint Dubai DXB1 - Umm Al Quwain / UAQ - Abu Dhabi / AUD.
