Manturov suggested that a "hybrid or electric version" of the car would go into production.
Earlier, the former Russian plant of the French concern Renault was renamed into JSC Moscow Automobile Plant Moskvich.
On May 16, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia announced that the Russian assets of the Renault group would become state property.
