She recalled that in accordance with the EU sanctions of June 4, 2022, direct or indirect purchase, import or transfer of fuel from or to Russia is prohibited.
“At the moment, fuel from Russia can only be imported in a conventional fuel tank of a car,” Lyahderinne explained to RIA Novosti.
The interlocutor of the publication recalled that the restrictions also apply to individuals entering Finland from Russia by car.
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Pavel Yablonsky said that the EU authorities had begun work on the seventh package of anti-Russian sanctions.
The sixth package of EU sanctions against Russia was finally approved on 3 June.
