The exercises "Poisk-2022", "Echelon-2022" and the command and staff exercise "Interaction-2022" will be held.

It is noted that representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, as well as a group of CSTO officers took part in the preliminary negotiations.

“All three exercises, combining the training of various components of the CSTO troops (Collective Forces), are planned to be held in a single operational environment on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Matybulak training ground,” the headquarters said.

For the first time, a new unit of collective forces will take part in the exercise - the joint formation of the RCB for protection and medical support of the CSTO.

Earlier, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Stanislav Zas summed up the activities of the organization, and also assessed the potential for its expansion.
