Around Europe and parts of the world, it is currently extreme weather.

In Peru it is frost, in Pakistan it has been measured 51 degrees and in Spain it is the warmest early summer in 20 years.

Researchers believe that climate change makes it more likely for more extreme weather.

- Now we also see how they spread over the season, so they occur not only more often, but also earlier in the year, says Michael Tjernström professor of meteorology.

But can individual weather events be linked to climate change?

Hear the experts explain in the clip above.
