Muhammad Ramadan violated the agreement

The reason for this court ruling is due to Muhammad Ramadan’s breach of the terms of the contract he had previously made with the MBC network in 2015, and it was reformulated and amended in 2016, and he had to devote himself to presenting 3 exclusive series that were broadcast only on the group’s channels during the month of Ramadan. In the years: 2017, 2019 and 2020.

Ramadan has already received an amount of 13.430 million Egyptian pounds out of 115 million (about 6 million dollars) in the total contract amount, but he breached the agreement, as he presented in 2018 the series “Esser Upper Egypt” produced by “The Justice Group” and it was shown on various TV channels, followed by his announcement. About contracting another series in 2019, in contravention of the terms of the contract concluded.

The network's lawyer, consultant Tharwat Abdel-Shahid, said that he is in the process of studying the judicial ruling in order to claim appropriate compensation for the loss suffered by the network, which, in his view, will not be less than 100 million Egyptian pounds (about $5.3 million).

Did Muhammad Ramadan deliberately provoke his fans?

Counselor Ahmed El-Gendy - Mohamed Ramadan's lawyer - commented on the verdict, and said that it is a preliminary ruling that they have the right to appeal.

As for Muhammad Ramadan himself, no official comment has been issued so far on the judicial ruling.

Ramadan posted a video clip through his official account on Instagram while he was on his way to a private plane flying to Jordan, and attached it to a comment that said, "On my way to the strongest party in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, my beloved, dear Jordanian republic, I will see you well next Friday."

Ramadan also shared another clip a few hours ago of his brother on the plane, while he was counting a large amount of dollars, mocking my brother's "favorite hobby."

The clip recalled a previous reaction to Ramadan, when he appeared in a video circulated on his official platforms, relaxing in the swimming pool, throwing a large amount of dollars in the water, which coincided with another enforceable court ruling.

In 2021, the Economic Court in Cairo issued a court ruling obligating Muhammad Ramadan to compensate pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr in the amount of 6 million Egyptian pounds (about 300,000 dollars) for the damages he sustained as a result of a photo crisis that Ramadan took with him on the plane.

It is noteworthy that the last dramatic appearance of Mohamed Ramadan was last Ramadan in the series "Al-Meshwar", co-starring Dina El-Sherbiny.

Despite the high hopes that the audience placed on the work, being written by Muhammad Farid and directed by Muhammad Yassin, it came so disappointing that everyone was frustrated, and soon its makers disavowed themselves of it after a few episodes, so that the director after the first ten episodes appeared on the “Tatar” supervising the output only.

On the lyrical level, Ramadan released the song "Bilalin" two weeks ago on his official YouTube channel, and it achieved public success as soon as it was released.

With regard to cinema, Ramadan is currently preparing for a new movie called "Number One" directed by Yasser Sami, with which he returns to the big screen after years of absence.
