With a large contingent, the police in Thuringia, Schleswig-Holstein and Berlin searched the rooms of suspects from the right-wing scene on Thursday.

According to the Thuringian State Criminal Police Office (TLKA), there were raids in a total of 26 residential and business premises.

More than 500 officers from Thuringia and special forces from other federal states were deployed.

There is a suspicion of trafficking in narcotics in connection with money laundering and violation of the Weapons Act.

Investigations are being carried out in five proceedings against a total of ten suspects.

Seven arrest warrants were executed.

According to information from Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR), the measures applied to the Thuringian neo-Nazi scene and the so-called “Turonen” network.

The TLKA and the public prosecutor's office in Gera, which is responsible for organized crime, had already taken action against the group in February last year.

The State Criminal Police Office did not want to confirm the connection with reference to the ongoing investigation.

According to the information, objects in the districts of Erfurt, Gotha, Weimar, Saale-Orla, Saalfeld-Rudolstadt, Schmalkalden-Meiningen, Eisenach as well as in Schleswig-Holstein and Berlin have been searched since the early hours of the morning.

Among other things, the officers seized alarm guns and a presumably live handgun with ammunition.

In addition, an unknown amount of cryptocurrency was seized and six suspects had their accounts seized.

Several cell phones and crypto cell phones, a large amount of cash, computer technology and storage media, and a small amount of narcotics were also seized.

In direct connection with the investigations by the State Criminal Police Office, the Saalfeld Criminal Inspectorate also carried out searches on suspicion of drug trafficking.

As part of these measures, two other suspects aged 26 and 34 should be arrested.
