“We explain that, despite the removal of temporary restrictions on transport in relation to Ukraine, the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic, citizens of these states have the right to remain on the territory of the Russian Federation after August 17, 2022 even without permits,” Volk TASS quotes.
According to her, in relation to citizens of Donbass and Ukraine without permits, they will not be held administratively liable for violation of the regime of stay and work in Russia, as well as expel them from Russia.
Earlier, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that citizens of Ukraine, the DPR and LPR can apply for temporary residence or for a residence permit on expired documents.
