On Wednesday, SVT Sörmland was on site at Rekarnegymnasiet to meet happy 8-10-year-olds who are on construction campus.

Each group is building a box car for a week, something that will culminate in a colloquial final on Friday, with a box car race.

- We must be ready then.

Because we are going to grill and then the parents can come and film us, says Clara, one of the colloquium participants.

It is the Construction Industry's professional committee and Rekarnegymnasiet in Eskilstuna who, together with Komtek, have collaborated to make the construction package possible.

Tobias Elf Svensson from Byggföretagen, talks about the purpose behind the initiative.

- Of course we think long-term here as well.

Partly that it should be a fun construction camp, but then also long-term that there are some who may come to the construction industry eventually, he says.

Kollot is going on this week and next, with new box car builders on Monday.
