It was in April 2017 that Rahkmat Akilov drove a truck through Drottninggatan in Stockholm at high speed.
Five people lost their lives as a result of the action.
Akilov has been locked up in the Hall's security department since September 2018, but now he will be moved.
Needs to be relocated
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service assesses that he needs to be relocated based on the prevailing client constellation and environmental change, they write in a decision.
They also make the assessment that the security department at Saltvik is suitable.
No date has been set for the transfer, but will take place at a time agreed by the activities concerned.
