The President of the State receives the President of Rwanda
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, received today President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame, who is on a visit to the country.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace, welcomed President Paul Kagame, who in turn expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to His Highness and the people of the UAE on the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, "may God have mercy on him", noting the feats The great humanity of the deceased on the African continent and the world, and the aid provided by the UAE to his country during his reign, "may God have mercy on him."
The Rwandan president also congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his assumption of the presidency, wishing His Highness success and the UAE further progress, prosperity and development under his leadership.
He expressed his aspiration to expand the horizons of cooperation relations between the UAE and Rwanda in various fields during the coming period.
For his part, His Highness the President of the State thanked the Rwandan President for the good feelings he showed towards the UAE and its people, and wished the friendly Republic of Rwanda all the best, progress and development.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State, and Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State.
