“To award the Order of Zhukov to the 239th Guards Tank Red Banner Orders of Suvorov, Kutuzov and Alexander Nevsky Orenburg Cossack Regiment,” Putin’s decree says.

The document states that the order was awarded for mass heroism and courage, fortitude and courage shown by the regiment's personnel in military operations to protect state interests.

The Order of Zhukov was established on May 9, 1994.

On May 20, the President of Russia signed a decree on awarding Arsen Pavlov (Motorola), the commander of the Sparta battalion of the DPR, who died in 2016, the Order of Courage posthumously.
