“In annual terms, inflation continued to slow down and as of June 10 amounted to 16.69% year-on-year,” the ministry’s review “On the Current Price Situation” says.

It is noted that the main contribution to the decline in prices is made by the acceleration of the reduction in the price of food products.

A decrease in prices for tourism and regulated services was recorded.

Earlier, the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov, in an interview with the Russia 24 TV channel, said that the strengthening ruble was a challenge for the Russian economy.
