It is reported by Foreign Policy with reference to the head of Naftogaz Yuriy Vitrenko.

Ukraine offers the United States to supply 6 billion cubic meters of LNG to the country through Europe, since Kyiv does not have its own LNG terminals.

The Ukrainian side will be ready to pay for supplies under the lend-lease agreement in two years, but now the main goal is to prepare for the next heating season.

“They (US authorities. - RT ) were surprised to hear this idea, but they took it well,” Vitrenko commented on America's reaction to Ukraine's proposal.

On June 13, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine banned the export of coal, fuel oil and gas of Ukrainian origin.
